Santiago do Cacém joins Portugal’s Inventrip destination network

During the agricultural and horse fair, Santiagro 2022, the mayor of Santiago de Cacém, Mr. Álvaro Beijinha, presented the new commitment to the digital promotion of tourism in this municipality of the Alentejo Litoral with the implementation of the Inventrip platform. The project has included the digitalisation of all its tourist resources and the inclusion of more than 250 tourist establishments.

Launch of the Enotourism project, a mosaic of experiences

Sismotur was invited to the launching day of this project of the PDR 2020 of Portugal, which has as partners the associations ADREPES, ADER-AL, APRODER and ADL. Augusto Ramos, CEO of Sismotur, presented the possibilities of the Inventrip platform to digitise the enotourism offer of the 17 municipalities of the project, as well as to connect the different territories of the associations.

Sismotur invited to participate in the board of directors of RECEVIN

Augusto Ramos, CEO of Sismotur, was invited to participate in the board of the European Network of Wine Cities and was able to share with the attendees the promotion of digital wine tourism in numerous wine municipalities of the AMPV and ACEVIN with the Inventrip platform. He also shared during the day the possibilities of collaboration between RECEVIN and iREA, an association for the promotion of the rural world of which Sismotur is a founding member.

Sismotur present at Lisbon BTL 2022

Jorge Albardeiro, Director of Sismotur Portugal, presented the new innovations of the Inventrip platform at the Lisbon Tourism Fair. Also, together with the CEO of Sismotur, Augusto Ramos and the Secretary General of AMPV, José Arruda, presented the progress of wine tourism digitisation in Portugal, which already has more than 25 municipalities connected to Inventrip.

IV Inventrip Conference – Portugal (Santarém)

The Association of Portuguese Wine Municipalities is the chosen venue for the IV Inventrip Conference. Nuno Russo, councillor of the city council of Santarém (Portugal) opened this new meeting of Inventrip Destinations. Diputación de Badajoz, Santiago del Teide, Lago Alqueva and AMPV presented to the other participants the innovations carried out in their Destinations.

The Secretary General of the UNWTO is interested in the intelligent signposting of Reguengos de Monsaraz

During the 5th World Congress on Wine Tourism, held in Reguengos de Monsaraz, the Secretary-General of the UNWTO, Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, and the Portuguese Secretary of State for Tourism, Ms. Rita Marques, got to know the smart tourism signage connected to the Inventrip platform of this Alentejo municipality. The Mayor of Reguengos de Monsaraz, Mr. José Calixto and the CEO of Sismotur, Augusto Ramos, present this new communication channel with the digital tourist.
