Fitur Know-How & Export, an initiative created by SEGITTUR and FITUR, in collaboration with ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, celebrates its tenth anniversary promoting the internationalisation of Spanish technological solutions for tourism. During the celebration ceremony, Sismotur received an award for its loyalty to this space, in which it has participated since its beginnings.
The regional secretary of Turisme, Francesc Colomer, this Wednesday presented the Tourist Info of Anna and Quesa (Valencia) with the IV Prize for Innovation in the Tourist Info Network for their intelligent tourist signage project in the Mancomunidad de la Canal de Navarrés. The head of Turisme also visited the municipality of Bolbaite, where the town’s mayoress, Carolina Más, showed him the Inventrip initiative, an intelligent signage tool that allows tourists to find out about the region’s tourism offer free of charge.
Our use case “Proof of Visit”, based on Inventrip, won the international hackaton IoT Blockchain Camp 2018. Engineers and business leaders where present, some of them from relevant blockchain companies like Ambrosus and Climate Coin. They validated the pertinence of using Beacons as digital notaries to register the passage of tourists across a territory and enable the creation of reward mechanisms linked to their behaviour.
Sismotur was awarded with a finalist prize due to the contribution of Inventrip platform to the diffusion and promotion of a tourist destination. The jury recognizes how Inventrip is capable of joining the emotional part of a tourist experience, at the time of preparing the trip, with the reality of displacing himself in the territory during the trip and the positive recommendation that he does afterwards of that same destination.
