Eurecat is developing an AI system to improve tourist assistance in collaboration with Sismotur.
The Eurecat technology center, based in Catalonia and a leader in artificial intelligence, is carrying out an innovative research project for Sismotur. The goal is to develop a system that will allow tourists to obtain information through an interactive chat, based on factual data managed by tourist destinations.
This system, which will use data from Inventrip already available via the API that powers other systems, will be capable of answering both simple questions and more complex queries. Currently, the project is in the research phase, and if successful, the functionality will be available to tourist users in 2025, enhancing their experience.
This collaboration reinforces Sismotur’s commitment to technological innovation and the continuous improvement of its services.
