Sismotur boosts tourism digitization in northern Alentejo with the Inventrip platform
As part of the project “Wine Tourism, a mosaic of experiences”, Sismotur has successfully completed the implementation of the Inventrip platform in the municipalities of Portalegre, Campo Maior, Marvão, and Monforte, located in northern Alentejo. This achievement was made possible under the coordination of the ADER-AL association, which brings together these municipalities and has led the digital transformation of their tourism offerings.
The initiative included the installation of Digital Kits to enhance the experience in tourist establishments, the provision of promotional NFC cards to facilitate access to relevant information, and the placement of Geobeacons directly connected to the Inventrip app, offering visitors an interactive and personalized real-time experience.
Thanks to this technology, each municipality now has the ability to manage and update its tourism information through personalized access to Inventrip, allowing them to keep their content, especially related to wine tourism—a key sector in the region—up to date.
This project reinforces the commitment of the northern Alentejo municipalities to innovation and smart tourism, while enhancing the experience of visitors seeking to explore the region’s wine tourism routes.
