Sismotur leads the smart tourist signage plan for the city of Cádiz.
In May 2024, Sismotur was awarded the study for the development of the Smart Tourist Signage Plan for the city of Cádiz. With this project, Cádiz joins a network of more than 200 municipalities that have trusted Sismotur’s expertise and technology to develop their signage master plan.
The project focuses on improving the pedestrian, directional, and informational tourist signage throughout the city, in addition to providing real-time information about parking availability for vehicles entering the city center.
In October 2024, the design validation and the integration of IoT smart signage connectors are being finalized. These will soon be implemented as part of Cádiz’s Tourism Sustainability Plan. With this advancement, the city aims to optimize the experience for both tourists and residents by modernizing its infrastructure and enhancing urban mobility.
